It was time. It was time to live, so Eleanor gathered herself and walked right through all the people that she had known for a life time; neighbors, friends, her sister, her mother. She hugged her mother strong, in a way that she had not hugged her since she was a girl. Eleanor had watched from a distance, she had seen her crying with her sister, and had been shocked at her mother's tears. Everyone knew she wasn't dead, but their responses to her life were more intense than she ever imagined. She had always fancied herself alone, but so many seemed to care in different ways.
